Hi, I’m Daniel—the filmmaker behind Lynn Films, husband to Johanna, dad to Harley, and someone who still feels incredibly fortunate every time a couple trusts me with their wedding day.

For more than 22 years, I’ve documented weddings by paying attention to the moments that happen naturally: the nervous laughter before the ceremony, a parent’s expression when no one is watching, the voices of the people you love, and the celebration that unfolds when everyone forgets about the camera.

My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I keep my equipment footprint small, avoid unnecessary posing, and never want filming to pull you away from the people or moments that matter. You should be able to enjoy your wedding fully while I quietly preserve what it looked, sounded, and—most importantly—felt like.

I studied filmmaking at the University of North Texas and spent nearly two decades documenting weddings in Texas before bringing Lynn Films to Middle Tennessee. After filming hundreds of weddings, I’ve learned that the most meaningful films don’t come from perfectly staged moments. They come from real people, genuine relationships, and the parts of the day you may not even realize happened.

When your film is finished, I want it to feel unmistakably yours—not like someone else’s wedding set to music, but an honest record of the people, emotions, and story that made your day unlike any other.

Lynn Films is based in Columbia, Tennessee, and serves couples throughout Nashville, Franklin, Spring Hill, Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee, and destinations beyond.
